PvP Event For Server?

Me and a staff member (COUGH Pzh Cough) Thought of a event taken place in PvP world before the changing of a map, We copy the two biggest (or smallest or best military citys) in pvp and have two teams (two alliances of factions) fight it out

maybe we should split up who ever is on and give a certain time limit so the people with creative can arm members and build a fort then we go all out

Sure. We should take all the cities and towns (that aren't abandoned) and put them into two alliances. The two alliances should have an equal number of players and each alliance should consist of multiple factions. Each faction should have control of a city/town. The goal should be for each alliance to capture as many enemy towns as possible by killing the players of that faction and claiming the city or town from them when the enemy faction's power is less than the amount of land owned.

So I'm Gona guess if there is, let say, 70 active players that want to join. That is 86 including staff. For this would we like to set up each team with dyed gear (red, blue) to show team? And this map would probably have to be surrounded by a 3-4 tall wall to forbit people from running off the map. Possible adventure mode setup in this one world for multi use maps.
