Server down for maintenance....

If it has, server will be down for a while ...
If you didn't bother to read the links, here is the shortened version of it all.
EVERYTHING WAS WIPED CLEAN! Nothing is left. No Files. No World. No Permissions. No Inventories. Even the MySQL server went down. Those spammers weren't just spamming to annoy us. Other servers were apparently hit and also had their files destroyed.

Backups? I don't have any recent ones ... Last one I made was a month ago. Not that it matters ... MySQL was hit also.
I managed to backup the permissions file that is about 3 days old. Some people might be downranked as it isn't up to date.
Unfortunately, I might have to de-rank all VIP and above. You will need to confirm your account through the forums if this is the case.
If it is a full reset, then I will be working on adding factions and pvp sooner than expected.

I am thinking of just doing the update we were going to have for now, and then do the update for multiverse in a couple of days after that. After you guys have adapted to the new map and stuff.

I AM SO SORRY, BUT I CAN'T DO ANYTHING. I CAN'T EVEN GET YOUR TOWNS FROM THE MAP AS IT NO LONGER EXISTS.
Again, I am so sorry about this. I will try to make it up to you guys somehow.

With the permissions and the lists of people VIP+ Just keep a list of them on your computer in a Word document or something. That way when they post to get their rank back, you can just check the document to see what they are under.

With the map, it's annoying for everyone but we can work hard in the starting days/weeks to have a town up and running near the spawn. Very Happy

Don't worry Mage. You couldn't do anything about those spammers and you have tried your best to fix the problem.

But with the donaters losing there ranks and that do what 44 said keeping a list of all the ranks of the donaters

Well they said they were checking all the servers for corruption so it may take a while. I know they host a lot of servers. I suggest people play on another server or a different game. It may take a few days or a few weeks. We don't know. :/

Mage do you use a folder to put all that stuff that the server needs?

If you do and the stuff that's inside the file are all gone your could try right clicking somewhere inside the file and click on properties and go to Previous Version and just restore the older version.

Not sure if you use windows though. Also try google.com and search on how to retrieve delete files.
