I went to the Nether for some glowstone and I was randomly attacked by a mob of, like, 100 pigmen even though I didn't provoke them. I have never been to the Zidocraft Nether before this trip and I know better then to do anything to a zombie pigman. Anynone know why I was attacked?

Even if someone else provoked them, they will still attack every player right?
And that person could've provoked them, then just left the nether, waiting for an unsuspecting victim.

Hey guys, there all ticked again so i think either A) 44bottles is right and someone is a major jerk, or B) There is some sort of bug. Either way i think the butchering needs to become a regular thing

um its natural for pigmen to kill u if u get too close with alot of them around its not a glitch i remember getting killed by them alot

Well I have only a stone sword, no armor, no potions, and there's 20 of them, and I am legit so even if I could (which I can't) I wouldn't fly. I'd like to see you pull that off.

Not the point. The point is that for us people who like to play vanilla Minecraft single player, it gets extremely annoying going to get (insert Nether resource here) and being massacred by pigmen who shouldn't be attacking us to begin with. Now for the staff and mods, its like "Well just use the /fly command." Well I don't play like that. I play legit. So I would appreciate it (and I know others who would too) if someone would look into this bug or glitch or whatever you want to call it

Doesn't happen in single player to me (and shouldn't according to the wiki) so I won't stop "complaining" which is not what I'm doing. I am trying to inform someone who is staff about this to see what the problem is

well i play singleplayer sometimes and they might kill me for no good reason maybe because he was too close
