2 things that could be possible:
1.) He ripped you off, he knew that it was GoldEN apple and not Gold Apple
2.) He didn't know about this, and it was an accident
I think it's option 2, Anyway i hope you get a refund because this kinda sucks.

the thing is, if it isn't him ripping you off, then why would a red apple be in the chest??
