I remember Ryan went to the Nether one day and was getting kicked constantly.
He tried logging in for a couple of times and was finally able to get back on.
I haven't had any other troubles with the Nether before, so I am not sure what happens. I didn't even get an error when Ryan was getting kicked.
Just try logging in constantly, it should let you on after a while.

thek nothing came up. i couldn't open the chat menu
