I am deciding to wait for the Beta Build of Bukkit.
They are currently on the Developmental Stage of Bukkit.

Of course, it won't be an immediate update, as I will at least wait for the major plugins to be updated a bit before actually updating the server.

Hope you guys can notice that it does take a while and a bit of work to update the server. I also hope you guys can be patient with me, as school always comes first. It might delay me at times, but I will always check on the forums to make sure everyone is still alive (seriously though, make sure Hurricane Sandy doesn't hurt any of you Sad

There is a Beta Build out right now.

I am currently aware of this, but I cannot make any progress.
I have a couple of projects I need to work on for school. Even so, I will have to wait for most plugins to become more stable on the build. Logblock is an example of such a plugin. Based on comments, it seems to be a little buggy. I wouldn't want to have that on the server.

Anyways, just going to let you guys know that progress for 1.4.2 might be a little slow, but I will try and catch up during the weekend.

I think he just said to make a backup in case anything bad happens. That way the map isn't destroyed.

Of course, I will try to do that. Note, there are 3 worlds I will need to download, and that will take about 1-2 hours. (world, world_the_end, pvp)

Nether might reset. Not sure about it. I will probably reset to make a fresh spawn for the new mobs in the Nether.

How about adding a world with /I So we could spawn items, and the spawned items wouldn't be transferred to other worlds so that it would only stay on that world?
I saw that kind of a world on another server, but I won't say its name.

also, if you are speaking of a freebuild world, then you are also speaking of a world that can have items easily spawned in and it would be constantly griefed. Not that it cant be fixed, but it would be a hassel for staff having to rollback a noobs grief everyday.

Sorry guys, won't be updating any time soon.

I was hoping for having Tuesday off, but I had to work on my project >.< (Teachers decided that Monday would be the best day to give a ton of homework ...)

Good news is that I got most of the configs done. Bad news is that there are 3 semi-important plugins that don't want to work because they aren't updated :/
