New Plugin reccomendation

Ok, recently i have found a new plugin called -SimpleGems-
About this mod: Well, Theres not much too it really, basically instead of having just diamonds, it adds other gems. Such as Sapphire,Ruby,Topaz,Emerald. The gems are just as hard to find as diamonds, and i think it'd add a new challenge to zido,
Anyway, just a thought eheh.. Have a think.

Meh I say no. By making new gems that have the same rarity of diamonds, you're not adding challenge per se, you're just increasing the abundance of "rare" ores. Also, wouldn't this require us to have a client version of it?

I do not think that is a plugin, but more of a Mod.

They are different because Mods require Client side mods in order to join the server.
Plugins do not require anything for members to be able to join.

It is a plugin too, there is a mod for single player, and a plugin for multiplayer, I understand if it's not relevant though:).

1)we would need a map reset in order for the new items. before you say oh we can just explore new chunks i saw how big the map is new chunks aren't very near
2)whats the point of adding something that doesn't help in anyway
3)seems like it is a mod if it is there is no way we can install it on bukkit unless it is for bukkit it would also limit the players because it would force them to install this mod to join the server and if its a plugin them it must be a spout plugin which is still bad it would require players to get spout to join the server
