Problem with Minecraft Server

Hi, I am experiencing some problems with this minecraft server. I was a member after an admin/mod approved me(in the game and on the forums). Then when I logged into the Minecraft game again, I wasn't a member again. So luckily Moderator Shank ranked me up as I was already approved on the forums. Then later, I logged in again, I was not a member again! I was a default! May I know why is this happening to me?
