OK. Let's say you want to make the line, "Hi! I'm awesome!" green. Highlight the text (left click on the space to the left of "Hi" and drag your cursor right, if you don't know how) and click on the color palette button (this thing:
). Now, the highlighted text might not be highlighted anymore, but don't worry because the system remembers what you highlighted. Then click on "green." Done!
Final result:
Hi! I'm awesome!If you want to do something else, like make your text bold, do the same thing as above, but instead of choosing the color palette, click on the
B button. Final result:
Hi! I'm awesome! Alternatively, you can simply highlight the text and hit the "CTRL" and "B" keys (on your keyboard) at the same time. The same can be done with underlining text except you hit the "
U" button, or hit the "CTRL" and "U" keys at the same time.
Combine all of this HTML coding together and you can get:
Hi! I'm awesome!
It has come to my attention that on Google Chrome, you cannot do the control shortcuts (ie: ctrl+b for bold, ctrl+i for italics). On google chrome, you must first highlight your text then click on the appropiate buttons(
)
B corresponds to
bold text
I corresponds to
italicized text
U corresponds to
underlined text
S corresponds to
strikedtext.
